ThemePop Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ThemePop for iOS handles information when you browse themes, wallpapers, icons and widgets, prepare materials, and use related features. It applies to the app with bundle identifier com.hongwei.themepop and this privacy-policy website.

Current features

ThemePop's current version provides free content, local favorites and history, material preparation, and widget configuration. It does not require a ThemePop account or synchronize favorites to a ThemePop cloud account.

Subscriptions, credits, daily gifts, rewarded ads and optional first-party usage transmission are currently disabled. This policy will be updated before those services become available. Creating an advertising unit or preparing a consent message does not activate advertising in the app.

Local information

ThemePop stores favorites, preferences, preparation and export history, downloaded or prepared files, and widget settings locally on your device. The app and its related widget extensions share selected files, settings and weather cache through their shared app container.

A history entry records an action. It does not establish that a saved image is still in Photos or that you applied an item in the iOS system.

Photos

When you choose to save a wallpaper or icon, ThemePop requests permission to add that material to Photos. It does not use that permission to browse or upload your photo library. Photo widgets display artwork supplied with the selected content rather than browsing your personal photos.

Images already exported to Photos are managed separately. Removing local app history does not delete those images. You can manage them in Photos.

Weather and location

If you use location-based weather, ThemePop requests location permission and uses the location provided by iOS to request weather from Apple WeatherKit. Approximate location is supported. Location and weather information are cached locally and shared with weather widgets.

You can decline or revoke location access in iOS Settings. Location-based weather may then be unavailable or unable to refresh. Weather freshness limits do not mean the cached location is automatically deleted at that time. Apple's processing of its services is described in its Privacy Policy.

Network services and this website

The current app configuration supplies bundled content without an enabled production remote catalog. When online content services are introduced, this policy will be updated to describe the providers and relevant processing.

This policy website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare may process technical request information, including IP address, request time, browser information and requested URL, to deliver and secure the page. Cloudflare operates a global network, so information may be processed outside your state or country. Its handling of service information is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

We do not add analytics scripts, advertising scripts, contact forms or application cookies to this policy page. This does not mean the hosting provider processes no network information. Hosting-provider records follow the provider's applicable retention practices; we do not promise a fixed deletion period for those records.

Advertising, analytics and purchases

The current app does not initialize its advertising provider or request Google ads or UMP advertising-consent messages. Optional first-party usage transmission and commercial transactions are disabled. An Allow preference saved locally does not override those disabled features.

No rewarded-ad age confirmation is active in the current version. The planned self-declared age-range selection and advertising privacy choices will be described and implemented before advertising is enabled. We will review actual data use, partner processing and any required tracking authorization before activating those features.

Support and privacy communications

If you email us, we receive your address and the information you provide, such as a message, app version or diagnostic details. We use these communications to respond, investigate issues and handle privacy requests. Email service providers also process messages to deliver and store email. Our contact mailbox uses Gmail; Google's practices are described in its Privacy Policy.

Do not send Apple passwords, payment credentials, raw purchase-verification proofs, or unrelated personal photos. We retain support and privacy correspondence for no more than 90 days after the matter is resolved, unless a legal obligation or unresolved dispute requires longer retention. This period applies to copies we control, not independently retained provider records or copies in your mailbox.

Retention and deletion

Local app information may remain until it is replaced, removed using an available app control, or otherwise removed from the device's app storage. Photos exports, shared widget information and device backups may have separate lifetimes. Deleting the app must not be assumed to remove exported Photos, every shared-extension record or copies in backups.

You can manage Photos and iOS permissions separately. Some information exists only on your device, so we may be unable to retrieve or delete it remotely. Server-side advertising and commercial retention are not described as active practices because those services are currently disabled.

Your choices and requests

Use available app controls to manage local favorites and preferences, and iOS Settings to manage Photos and location permissions. Contact boylhw123321@gmail.com to ask about information we handle, request access, correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern.

We may request information proportionate to verifying a request. Do not provide unnecessary sensitive information. We will assess requests according to the processing involved and applicable rights, including applicable exceptions. You do not need to create a ThemePop account to contact us. We do not penalize you for making a privacy request.

Children and teens

ThemePop is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children. Free features are not limited to adults. Advertising is currently disabled for everyone. No implemented age-verification or parental-consent process is claimed by this policy.

If you believe a child sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and respond. Before future advertising is enabled, we will update this policy and implement the relevant age and privacy controls.

This policy shows its effective date above. We will update it when relevant practices change and provide appropriate notice before introducing new processing.
